Harvard Pilgrim Health Care (“Harvard Pilgrim”) is providing notice of a data security incident discovered on November 22, 2021 that may affect the privacy of certain individuals’ protected health information and personal information.
In late November, Harvard Pilgrim was notified that one of its vendors, Medical Review Institute of America (“MRIoA”), who assists with clinical peer reviews was targeted by a ransomware attack that occurred on November 2, 2021. Prior to the issue being discovered, certain member information may have been compromised.
