Our Foundation

In 2021 Harvard Pilgrim Health Care and Tufts Health Plan combined to form one organization, now known as Point32Health. While remaining separate entities, our Foundations are operating as one, building on the strong community relationships we have formed over the years. We will continue to support healthy food and healthy aging efforts. Learn more about our work together.

As a local not-for-profit, Harvard Pilgrim Health Care’s heart and soul are exemplified by the passion and actions of the Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Foundation.

Last year, the Foundation contributed more than $4 million in grants and services to local nonprofit service organizations across the region. This commitment to help build healthy communities also extends to the extraordinary spirit of our employees, who participate in service days and other community volunteer opportunities, as well as our health equity initiatives. Let us be your guide to sharing good health.

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Creative Expression Contest

Harvard Pilgrim Health Care and Tufts Health Plan, Point32Health companies, proudly present our annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Creative Expression Contest (pdf). Applicants are asked to respond in their own way to this year’s theme, with specific focus on one of Dr. King’s most memorable quotes: "Life’s most persistent and urgent question is: What are you doing for others?” Deadline for submissions is Friday, December 3. The contest is open to students, ages 7 – 18, living in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire or Rhode Island.

Our Healthy Food Fund

Everyone knows that healthy food is fundamental to good health. New England’s local produce is delicious and abundant, but too many families still can’t afford it.

Our Mobile Farmers' Markets

When families can't get to the Farmers' Market, we bring it to them via "mini marts"  on wheels at an affordable price.

Our Growers, Gleaners & Distributors

Everywhere in New England, people of all ages are growing vegetables for food banks, building community gardens, freezing the harvest for pantries and even gleaning.

Healthy Aging

Harvard Pilgrim is bringing free, evidence-based programs to support older adults in the region – in both fall prevention and management and caregiver support. From programs like A Matter of Balance and The Savvy Caregiver to a guide to healthy eating, you’ll find everything you need right here.
