When depression and other mood disorders happen during pregnancy and after you give birth, they’re known as perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs). PMADs affect about 1 in 7 pregnant people, regardless of medical history, age, ethnicity and other factors. Learn more about PMADs.

If you’re struggling with your feelings, know that help, including screening and treatment, is available.

  • Talk with your or your child’s health care provider
  • Set up a telemedicine visit with Doctor on Demand
  • Take the screening available in the Ovia Parenting app
  • Enroll in our Healthy Pregnancy program and we’ll walk you through an assessment over the phone at 866-750-2068 or in the MyConnect app
