New Hampshire Premium Assistance Program: Medicaid Expansion

Effective January 1, 2016, Harvard Pilgrim will offer two new premium assistance program plans for individual adults in New Hampshire — New Hampshire Network Silver HMO Premium and ElevateHealth Silver HMO. Open enrollment begins November 1, 2015.

New Hampshire Network Silver HMO Premium and ElevateHealth Silver HMO will be issued standard Harvard Pilgrim ID cards, as well as Medicaid ID cards to use in case they need to access their separate Wrap benefits that will be covered directly through Medicaid. The Wrap benefits include:

  • Non –emergency medical transportation
  • Early periodic screening and diagnostic testing (EPSDT) services for 19- & 20- year-olds
  • Family Planning services from any Medicaid enrolled provider outside of the QHP network
  • Emergency dental extractions
  • Eyeglasses
