New Quantity Limit for OxyContin

Effective February 1, 2015, Harvard Pilgrim is lowering the quantity limit on all OxyContin strengths and their generics to 4 tablets per day on the Premium formulary (previously the limit was 275 tablets per 30 days). Harvard Pilgrim’s Value and Medicare Advantage formulary, which is being introduced in January 2015, also has a 4 tablet per day limit on all Oxycontin strengths and their generics. This quantity limit change helps ensure the safe and appropriate use of OxyContin. For more information, please visit our Pharmacy website.
