Changes to Dialysis Network

We want to make you aware of some changes to Harvard Pilgrim’s dialysis network. As a reminder, Harvard Pilgrim contracted providers are required to refer members in need of dialysis to facilities that participate in our network. By directing members only to dialysis facilities in our network, you help ensure that they have the best possible patient experience, including having well-coordinated care and low out-of-pocket costs.

Beginning September 1, 2014, some American Renal Associates (ARA) facilities have chosen to no longer participate in Harvard Pilgrim’s dialysis network. Please do not refer your Harvard Pilgrim members to the following non-participating facilities:

  • ARA-Springfield Dialysis doing business as (DBA) Springfield Dialysis Center, 125 Liberty St. Suite 101, Springfield, MA
  • Brockton Dialysis Center, 375 Westgate Dr., Brockton, MA
  • Dialysis Center of Western Massachusetts, 601 Memorial Dr. Suite H, Chicopee, MA
  • Fall River Kidney Center, 48 Weaver St., Fall River, MA
  • Hawthorn Kidney Center, 537 Faunce Corner Rd., Dartmouth, MA
  • Hawthorn Kidney Center Wareham, 2991 Cranberry Highway Suite F1, East Wareham, MA

  • ARA–East Providence Dialysis, 318 Waterman Ave., East Providence, RI
  • ARA–Johnston Dialysis, 1526 Atwood Ave., Johnston, RI
  • ARA-Pawtucket Dialysis DBA Dialysis Center of Pawtucket, 201 Armistice Blvd., Pawtucket, RI
  • ARA-Providence Dialysis DBA Dialysis Center of Providence, 9 Plenty St., Providence, RI
  • ARA-Tiverton Dialysis DBA Dialysis Center of Tiverton, 22 Hurst Lane, Tiverton, RI
  • Dialysis Center of Wakefield, 10 High Street, Wakefield, RI

  • Dialysis Center of Westerly, 1 Rhody Rd., Westerly, RI

If one of your patients is currently receiving care at one of the dialysis facilities listed above, please inform them about the changes to our dialysis network and direct them to an in-network provider.
