If you’ve received a Medicare Advantage contract information packet from Harvard Pilgrim recently, we encourage you to complete and return it as quickly as possible. Harvard Pilgrim’s aim is to offer a comprehensive, high-quality Medicare Advantage provider network, and to achieve this goal we need your participation.
Effective January 1, 2014, Harvard Pilgrim will offer a new Medicare Advantage HMO product to Medicare beneficiaries in Massachusetts, Maine, and New Hampshire.* To offer the highest quality care in our new Medicare Advantage product, we are asking leading Harvard Pilgrim providers in targeted counties to participate and began mailing contract information packets to them in October.
The packets included two copies of a Medicare Advantage Contract Amendment to be signed and returned, a provider or facility information form for completion, and a fact sheet with additional details on Harvard Pilgrim’s Medicare Advantage product. Some provider specialties—such as functional therapy, durable medical equipment, ambulance, and dialysis—also received credentialing information packets to complete and return in order to comply with CMS requirements. Any provider who receives a Medicare Advantage contract and/or credentialing packet in the mail is encouraged to review the information, and complete, sign, and return the requested documents in the enclosed stamped, addressed envelope immediately. The mailing address is:
Harvard Pilgrim Health Care
1600 Crown Colony Drive
Quincy, MA 02169
ATTN: Network Services
We will counter-execute and return one signed original amendment to you for your records.
Harvard Pilgrim is committed to supporting its participating providers with tools and information to help you effectively manage care. We’ll also provide an administrative infrastructure to minimize your non-clinical burden (claims processing, regulatory expertise, and compliance) so that you can focus on what you do best—provide clinical care to your patients.
