LCU Reporting

(This module is available to Local Care Units only)

The LCU reporting module within HPHConnect is the best way to obtain detailed performance reports from Harvard Pilgrim. This set of reports will provide a much broader range of options than the standard reports found in the HPHConnect portal, and captures data on the LCU level rather than the individual practice level.

The purpose of these reports is to provide informatics tools that enable users to identify opportunities for improvement based on meaningful and actionable information, allowing organizations to create change strategies based on that information. Harvard Pilgrim continues to invest in data availability and tools to improve the ability of our provider partners to provide high quality and cost-effective patient centered care.

Additional benefits of LCU Reporting access include:

  • Report availability 24 hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week
  • Reduced paper consumption
  • Greater control and convenience accessing information
  • Eliminates mailing delays
  • Reports stored online for 2 years
  • Search capability
  • Reports can be downloaded to a PDF file for printing and storage

For details on requesting access to LCU reporting, please visit the LCU Reporting Access page.

Once your request has been submitted, Harvard Pilgrim’s Provider eBusiness team will establish an HPHConnect account for any user requesting access to structured report outputs (see link above). When the HPHConnect account has been established, the Provider eBusiness team will send out a secure email with the account name and a temporary password. In parallel, Harvard Pilgrim Provider Analytics will establish access rights to the requested reports and the appropriate LCUs/CSUs in the relevant security tables. In general, the process should take less than 10 business days. The requestor will be notified when all accounts have been established.
