Mission

The Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Foundation supports Harvard Pilgrim Health Care’s mission to improve the quality and value of health care for the people and communities we serve by providing the tools, training and leadership to build healthy communities throughout Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire.

Focus

The Foundation works to increase access to fresh, affordable food to communities and families in the region; supports healthy, strong communities through grant contributions and community service; and addresses health disparities affecting diverse populations.

Programs
  • Harvard Pilgrim Healthy Food Fund is a grant and leadership initiative to make fresh, and as often as possible, local food easily accessible and affordable for more low- and middle-income families in our region.
  • Service & Giving supports Harvard Pilgrim employees to improve the communities in which they live and work through service and giving.
  • Healthy Equity focuses on ensuring that all individuals have access to quality care, enabling them to lead healthy, productive lives.
