Our well-being programs are here for you when you need them the most.

Whether you are looking to shake it up, stretch it out, or get centered, we’ve got you covered with Zumba®, yoga, guided mindfulness, wellness sessions, which are now available to everyone through our Living Well at Home programs. All classes are at no cost to you and easy to access via Zoom.


Fitness Classes

Yoga Mondays and Wednesdays at 5:15 p.m.

Zumba Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5:15 p.m.

Whether you like to dance it out with a live Zumba® class or take a deep breath with a calming live yoga session, we bring the fitness straight to your living room.

Taught by Soraya Doherty, Owner and Creator of RAQISA® Fitness & Health RAQ THE BARRE, these live classes involve full body workouts that can help you to increase strength, mobility and flexibility. These exercises can be done using your body weight alone or with a ball and band.

Intro to Reiki – August 5, 2020

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing, it dates to the early 19th century. It is based on the idea that energy flows through all of us and that physical and mental pain can be a blockage or imbalance of energy. Reiki is a technique to encourage the flow of energy. A Level II Usui Reiki practitioner will go over the history of Reiki, its uses and benefits, and what a patient can expect in a typical session. This is a great session for anyone curious about energy healing and learning more about Reiki.

Juggling the demands of children, home, a partner, work and community can be overwhelming. This program focuses on how to manage these many important responsibilities. By reducing our stress level, learning how to set priorities, delegating and managing time more efficiently, we are able to achieve a better balance. Topics covered in this program include examining our expectations, personality dynamics that interfere with reducing our stress and managing our time.

Stress Relief Techniques at Home – September 9, 2020

We will review common areas of tension while identifying why these areas become chronically problematic. We will demonstrate how proper breathing techniques can play a significant role in reducing our overall stress and muscle tension, especially in the upper body. Learn how to define pressure points and trigger points. Demonstrations will include how to relieve some of the most common and accessible trouble areas. In addition, recommendations and demonstrations will be provided utilizing a few inexpensive tools to use from home.

Sleep for Health – September 23, 2020

Sleep is an essential component for maintaining good health. Sleep helps restore both the body and mind. Lack of sleep contributes to higher levels of stress, irritability, lack of concentration and even weight gain. This program will review the different phases of sleep (REM and non- REM) and describe common sleep problems or forms of insomnia. There can be many causes of sleep disturbance, but the most frequent cause is worry and anxiety. This program will also outline what you can do to help prevent sleep disturbance and how best to handle the problem once you have gone to bed.
